Could be. How old and how many miles on the SP wires? Have someone rev the car at night or in a dark garage, and see if there is arcing.

I bougth car with 50kmiles on it, now it has 57kmiles....i guess these are original SP wires I'll do what you say at night too to see what happens or do you recommend me to replace SP wires?
