Yeah, who'd be crazy enough to drive 2200+ miles for something like that?!? Oh, wait...

They aren't that boring! Anyway, you can always add a bunch of radios and a laptop or something in case you really do start to get bored. Besides, the scenery along the way is great!

But they're uber-cool and FUN midwesterners (and east-coasters!) to hang with! Just DO IT!

Marty, you are the Official NE-CEG Wannabe. You are just as dedicated as we are, just on the opposite side of the country. Next year, just stick with us the whole time. We know where the fun is at.

man, if the cost of gas wasn't so fuggin readycueless i would be more interested in SZ07. just gas alone would cost me probably in the neighborhood of a grand! but driving across country is definitely cool! i did it last year i think somewhere in the vicinity of sacramento/san jose would be a good midpoint for people from SD and washington. if further inland it would be easier for people from neighboring western states to come as well.

san jose would be a good point!!! there is a bunch of things that we can do, especially with all the roads for cruising. the only bad thing is that there really aren't any tracks around here.

where is it going to be? SJ??? sounds good, I will see if I can help set some things up. there is drag racing in sac. go karts(the real kind) in fremont(10 miles from sj) Hwy 9,1, and skyline for fun drives, all of which look like they would put "Dragons tail" to shame. I will see if we can get an autoX or something to that nature set up as well
