I would chalk that up to stupidity and not the connectors. That or the chassis was twisted when he put them in and now the whole car alignment is off and it handles improperly.
I love my connectors. Ive noticed a nice improvement in the cars handling. If you are worried about weight I hope you dont have a sub, or tools in the trunk, etc. A passenger is 3-4 times the weight of these anyways. BFD. They are worth it.
