Dose anyone know where the fuel filter is located on a 98.5 SVT. It would be a great help.

Passenger side just before the rear wheel.

...and before you remove the fuel filter, unscrew the fuel filler cap to help relieve the fuel pressure from the fuel line on that end. Helps prevent a lot fuel spraying on you when you are under the car.

That is some good advice. Gas in the eye HURTS ! Believe me!

Also be prepared that some WILL leak out no matter what you do.

The How-to is good, and it is a simple item to replace.
