I quite like the tail lights. Someone else on here has one the same colour as yours and did the same thing,but in bodycolour and it looks awesome.
I did the same with with my tails on my V6,but I didn't go as dark,and I used Nitseshades,and only did 2 light coats.
Here's my old car (RIP). Maybe it'll give you paint ideas,lol. I did the 2 tone because I was supposed to have the car repainted this spring,and when I took off the ding guards it peeled off all the paint and clearcoat,and I wasn't going to leave it like that. The trunk lid was fiberglassed,and just sprayed black,as it was going to be painted when the car was repainted,but the car just got scrapped after my 2nd tranny went out on me.
You'll have to look closely at the tails,but they are lightly tinted.
Previously,on my old Mystique,I blacked out the tails with Niteshades and painted the trunk reflector body colour. Had I kept the car longer,I would have done a pre98 trunk or shaved and molded the reflector.
