...And I met its maker for the first time! We stopped by the Kansas City Assembly Plant today on the way home -- nine years and sixteen days after it was built.









I was hoping they gave tours of the plant, but they don't, except for special groups or something. So, I just settled for a bunch of pictures instead. It was shift change when I was there, and a couple of guys walking by said they liked the car, so that was pretty cool. They make Escapes, Mariners and F-150s there now. I'm going to take a tour of the Harley-Davidson plant in town here tomorrow.
