Ahh, If this is what you did Mx can you please tell me. I searched and found that you went around the dzus fastener route. What store can I get this from, I need to pick this up TODAY.

ace hardware. do you have the pic of them, or do i need to dig it up?

edit... nevermind, i found them.

ignore the bottom parts of the pics where it shows it with a nut on it. i was using the nut as a spacer (which you may need to do as well, depending on the length of the bolts they have).


this is the top half of the nut/bolt setup...



and this is the bottom half...

What Jim and myself used, are torx bit bolts with a rounded head, with a locking nut on the back. They're small and unnoticable, and easy to remove.

I just used the bolts that came with the kit when i put my mirko on.

1 on each end. Easy to put it on and off the car.

Yup this is what I ended up doing. It would be nice to have quarter or half turn fasteners, but its not a big deal. It takes me no longer the 60 seconds to remove the installed mirko.

Anyway, last night I got a coat of paint on. Tonight, I'll wetsand with 1000 grit, shoot another coat of paint on and let dry for the night.
