I was wondering if anybody has any pics of what blackouts would look like on the front headlights of an SVT? I see jet-black Mustangs with blackouts and everytime I tell myself (or anybody else in the car with me) how good they look and how I would love to see some on a black Contour. Or any OTHER color Contour for that matter.

So how do they look?

I think that is an older mod that people have gotten rid of (from what I read seeing as I havent been a member for a while). I hear they do not look to hot and people tend to stay away from the headlight blackout / the rear taillight blackout. Hopefully you get some pics though...

They look alright, I would rather hightower my lights instead of blacking them out though. Someone with a darker green (not amazon green) SVT on here has pictures of it. I'll try and find ehm later.

I would say stick without the headlight covers, but maybe its just the bra that makes the car look unappealing.

I'll try to dig up a picture with headlight covers for you.

I had thought about doing this to complete the blacked out look I had with my SVT. I didn't mainly because I had HID's and projectors and didn't want to kill any performance lighting (is that even a real or apt term? ) I already had.

If one went VERY light and even, and then clear coated it for added protection..... this would look very hot IMO.

yeah... IMO stay away from the blackouts... maybe a light tint would work I guess.
