In all seriousness, I remember seeing lots of people at the drag strip using ice to cool their intake mainifolds between runs, and if it didn't melt, it would work to cool the air charge thru the intake. But two things work against it. 1. It would melt rather quickly. 2. I don't know if the benefits would outweigh the added weight of the ice. Just my opinion.
