Its been discussed many times in the past basically Straight line GTP will win thats why you take them to the curves

How? Stock v stock they run very similar 1/4 mile times. If the GTP driver doesn't know how to launch and the CSVT guy is a good driver, then the CSVT will eek out the GTP. If the GTP guy can launch then the GTP will probably eek out the CSVT.
However, once you open the mod box GTP hands down.

Last time I checked SVT's weighed in at over 3000lbs. ARRRGH!!
Yar, ye be right! Me Mercury weighed round 3200, and the official #s for SVTs was 15.7 in the 1/4.
