sooo no one answered my question.... do dealerships put oil in by the plugs to help seal everything or does that seem silly



5 years is a long time man! I had oil sitting in one of my spark plug holes, and the car is 6 years old. Gaskets wear out, and that's all those spark plug tube seals are. Just a rubber gasket. I'll bet money that's what it is, as that's the only way it could get in there.
