Its easy to dump a ton of money into an R/C car. Ive done it on 3 different rides, my current one being a Savage.

And to be honest, Im a big fan of pull starts over a starter box or in my case, the built in start (HPIs rotostart). I ditched that crap long ago with the new engine and havent looked back.

Instead of having to bring all the crap with me, now I just carry the glow plug ignitor and a small screwdriver for tuning. Leave all the batteries and boxes at home. If you take care of your engine (put at the bottom of the stroke before it cools, add after run oil when finished, clear out all the fuel), and have it tuned properly, it starts on the 1st or 2nd pull everytime. At least mine does. Even after sitting all winter it fired up on the first pull.
