I was heavily into off-road and on-road 1/10 electrics from about 1987-1990. I had a Turbo Ultima with a Trinity Godzilla, Tekin T1, a couple of 7-cell batteries, a nice ball-bearing LSD, etc. Amazing that I can still remember the details. Anyway, the motor was good for exactly 4 min., which was the length of the races. I used that car for both off-road and on-road. Just changed the wheels/tires and altered the ride height depending on which.
I ended up giving away most of that stuff to my Mom's neighbor's kid last Summer. Felt bad doing it, but it was just taking up space.
