I used to race professionaly and was sponsored by Maxtec and Badd Boyz. I never made it to any national competitions however. I had about $4k into my RC10T2 The truck standing alone had about $1k into it. Everything was Graphite, Carbon fiber, aluminum and titanium. It was illegaly underweight by about 18 grams (had to tape quarters to it for racing).
Then when I was in college and strapped for cash I was an
IDIOT and sold all my equipment including the truck and the Airtronics 3ps controller on Ebay.. I kick myself in the ass everytime one of these R/C threads comes up.. I wish I would have never sold it.
