Fuel Line Clip at Fuel Tank - Do need a hammer? #1571916 05/15/06 11:27 PM

OP jagman4_dup1 Newbie J Joined: Apr 2003 Posts: 9	I am replacing the fuel pump - returnless - on a 99 SVT V6 Duratec. The factory manual say disconnect fuel line by depressing clips to release line. I did that - the line is stuck I think. I pinched the black clip and slid the black clip toward the sending unit away from the fuel line going out and then pulled hard - nothing. Am I doing this wrong? It seems the fuel line is retained by this clip but moving the clip off the line has no effect. Any suggestions?
