No offense intended, but I see squids around here all the time picking their first bikes that are way too much for them to handle. Within 3 months they are either dead or totaled their bike, with almost no exceptions.

I'll second this, riding friends bikes around is nothing compared to real riding. Be careful out there, and spend some time in the parking lots practicing low speed manuvers as well as quick braking (especially progressive braking).

You won't need any more power, spend most of your mod money on gear (and probably insurance).

On the brightside, if the bike is wrecked, it will probably come back to life as a racebike!

Already ordered a nice leather jacket, gloves and a new helmet. Got to put 110 miles on it yesterday before I left again for work. Messed around in parking lots and then took a nice highway cruise. In the UP there are so many nice twisties and hardly any traffic.

You're on CRACK!

They have THE worst riding position of any CAFE bike I have ridden. After 45 minutes on one I felt like I was going to need physiotherapy on my wrists for month.
