Yep, that is the correct one.

If it's nor corroded, it's only a 15 minute job.

Beware! If it's corroded in there, it will take you a lot longer than 15 minutes.

Nope. Different part.

The TSS (turbine speed sensor) is different & is much easier to get to. Takes 5 mins to change out.

Another thing that may help reduce the effect of 'bang shift' is the throttle hang mod. Costs all of $0.29 or so. Check out the common problems FAQ on the main site for instructions on that mod.

Yes, the VSS and TSS are different but the website lists both as Vehicle Speed Sensors (and I have confirmed this with Bill Jenkins when I ordered the TSS from him recently). The only way to tell is by punching in the part numbers in the website. The real vehicle speed sensor costs something like $50 while the turbine shaft speed sensor costs about $28.

TourDeForce, please don't confuse the issue. Thanks.

Yes, that is the correct part. Tourdeforce is incorrect (sorry, dude)

I just purchased (locla dealer) and replaced that sensor last week and have the receipt for the part in my hand.

1S7Z-7M101-KA SENSOR - TURBI - $24.34
