After oil and transmission fluid changes and a few other odds and ends, I got to installing the new autovation pedal set: And for the extra 20hp, I added a little badging: Car is absolutely filthy, needs a wash so bad, but its been raining for 4 days straight and its going to continue for another 4 days straight so whats the point Cleaned up the inside real good though, its real nice to just sit in there now hehe oh, and yes, the trunk is popped so the gap isn't normally that big and my license plate looks like crap and my tags need to be renewed for all you observant ones

well, note to self on the shifter: next time only cut about 1-1.5" off. I cut down about 2" and its almost a little too much.
I've got headers sitting here in a box, and who knows about the rest of it. Maybe end of summer or something. I'm thinking maybe 3.5" tips max, maybe 3" would look good in there.

You should of done a pedal how-to. Did you just drill the dead pedal straight through the carpet and metal? And are there any tricks on attaching the other three? -tropictour

The dead pedal is just screwed right in to the floor, but it never did hit metal. The screws are only like 3/8" long or something, not long enough to get meat, but they hold great though, that things not movin.
The actual pedals required drilling. The throttle was probably the easiest becuase its plastic back there. The others were a little more tricky. I ended up using superglue to set them in place and used the holes in the pedals as guides for my drill bit. Without it, the bit would've just walked all over the place and I probably never would've gotten it drilled straight.

Pedals look sweet as the does the pre-98 trunk. What shift knob is that if you don't mind me asking? Looks faintly similar to the maxima anniversary edition that came in some of the 5th gen. Maxipads, though I'm sure it's not. Haven't see one in a 'tour before, and it matches well with the pedals.

looks great! won't the pedals hurt your bare feet when you're driving naked, though?
