It has been a while since I have logged in to CEG, mostly because it has been too busy at my shop. I was going to keep the Mystique as-is for this show season, but I'm going to use my Turbo LS Civic hatch and H22Accord instead. All the 3.0 Contour swaps have influenced me to do something more with the Mystique. I am now ripping the Mystique apart and dropping in something that everyone would probably say "no Dean, it can't be done". It may require a bit of framework, but we can do it. For now, I'm picking up a full donor car to pull the entire front end out of, and dropping it all in stock to make sure we can get it all together and running right. If all goes as planned, I will be purchasing another donor vehicle and building that motor to the absolute max and bolting up either TWO Gt28r turbos or TWO gt30r turbos. I'm not really going for amazing 1/4 mile times as we are going to be doing a whole new, and better paint job that i won't want to screw around with, but on the dyno I won't be done til it's hitting a MINIMUM of 500fwhp, I'm hoping to hit 600fwhp, and maybe 700+ with spray. Nothing will be posted about the car until the first motor swap is complete. So, have a great summer everyone... It's off to work we go:) See you at SZ 2007!

If you're going to tease us with 500+ whp, and then say this, you're downright cruel! If you're not going to keep a progress thread, at least keep up some good photo documentation for the process for us to enjoy once you are done with the swap. Please? Pretty pretty?
