well the 35 and 40 is a ratio of the actual tire width not an actual measurment. so it may not be smaller after all. thats just how i thought it was, correct me if im wrong

im confused towards why you put a tire with a lower sidewall in the back... Shouldnt it be the other way around? Call me crazy but shouldnt the tires in the back be bigger then on the front of a RWD car... that is with that much power.... I ask for clarification...

Either way it looks sweet as hell...

There is only a 6.25mm difference from front to back. Back being lower. ARRRGH!!!

I realize the way tire sizes are measured seems bizarre, but how can you even begin to consider yourself a "car person" or any type of car enthusiast if you don't know what the numbers mean? Seriously, that was like the 1st thing I learned about cars!!!

really? the first thing you ever learned about cars was about tire measurements? thats strange... The first thing I ever learned about cars was that they drove places faster then walking... Of course, I learned this when I was an infant... but the fact still remains that this was the first thing I learned...

Aside from that... I asked so that I could learn something new... I knew what that particular number ment but I did not know the purpose for putting a slightly skinnier tire on the back end of a rear wheel drive car... I did merely ask a question for clairification.

This stuff works awesome, ask Blu fuz, pete or hector. just rip off a small amount work around the tip, it will hase up a little, once done take a cloth wipe off and it will look like new, seriouly try this stuff man,

You can find it at Pep-boys, Murrays, autozone, best thing is its under 10bucks..

I gotta agree w/ the Never Dull stuff. I used it on my old '86 GT's 10-hole wheels. The clearcoat on the wheels was shot but this stuff cleaned them up nice. Also I rubbed it on my exhaust tips that were just plain aluminized steel and gave it a semi polished.
