According to Zillow.com, average price for a Commerce Township, MI home is $235K. Homes in that town with similar features to APT's are advertised at $300-$350K though.

Makes me sad that our 1960s 1250sqft home is going for that much. (Our neighborhood values skyrocketed with an interchange put in town in 2002; now very desirable land for the Boston commuters.)

Though it's not as bad as one of my friends. His parents sold their house in Laguna Beach (CA) for ~$300K several years ago and it's now worth over 1.5mil.
