I'm not a fan of those zero-turn radius mowers. I find the lever steering a huge PITA to use. I would rather have a normal mower with wheel and pedals and 4WS instead.

John Deere X744

Smaller, gasoline powered, and less expensive models with 4WS are also available.

Dunno, the Zero Turn Radius on the Bobcat is easy to use, push both levers foward to go foward, they stay in position... pull back on one lever to turn one direction, both back in neutral to stop. It stops ON THE SPOT most the times, unless slippery grass. And if both levers are pushed foward quickly at high RPM, the thing does a wheelie

I Dunno, I prefer Zero turn radius, very easy to use and gets in the hard to get spots. Instead of constantly turnin a wheel left/right to get a small strip of grass and shifting into reverse. From using both Steering wheel and Zero turn radius...

Just my two cents... If you can find a dealer, they might let you test both them out.

I like the ZTR mowers as well. My dad has a Diesel Exmark that rocks! However, gas commercial ZTR's cost about twice as much as a walk behind and don't save any time.

My brother's has Toro WB's with the T-bar for 20 years, so I'm somewhat used to that.
