First timer here. I think this forum is great based on the reading I've done so far. I already fixed my coolant light by filling the antifreeze 1/2" past the max level (thanks to you guy's) and plan to fix my clock light with the info I found here.
I just bought a 98 contour LX with the 2.5L with 147000 Miles on it. the thing runs good ("knocks on wood") looks great and I got a good deal ($1800). I was just woundering how many miles others had on theirs. I'm hoping this thing will last me 2 more years.

I'm at 117K miles. It had 41k when I got it 2 years ago, I like to drive. If you keep up with routine maintinence, they should last a good while.

Had mine for a year, started with 76K from the dealer I bought it from, now has 87K with absolutely NO problems (other than one I caused being an idiot, and now my secondaries are acting up, but it's probably nothing). Good luck man, there are people with well over 120K and still running great, keep up on maintenence and it should last you more than 2 years! Welcome to the site!

ive got almost 220,000 miles on my 97 gl. It still runs great. just like everyone else is saying if you keep up with PM and fix any minor things that may go/wear out (bushings) the car will last you a long time.
