Anyways, isn't there a way to slap a Mirko splitter on a pre'98?

I think he meant on a stock pre 98 bumper. Obivously you can do it if it is a SVT bottom half of the bumper! Maybe I misunderstood him, but I don't think I'm that drunk.

For Sale - 96 Tour Sport 2.5L MTX with SVT Exhaust, pre 98 trunklid with newer Contour Sport spoiler instead of lip spoiler, newer Contour sport rims. Newer paint job. Brand new floor mats. Rust Free! PM me for details and pics.

I'm sure glad I got rid of my micah bumper! And fyi, that car is sitting less than 3" off the ground I would guess 2-3/4" at the lowest point under the mirko by the front wheels kuz the micah bumper doesn't sit straight.. GET LOW GET LOW!

well, if your planning on using the entire svt fascia without the pre 98 fascia, your going to have to get creative. Its a pain in the butt and requires a lot of fabrication as you can see due to the difference in headlights and different shape grill. I was the first and only person to do it this way back in the day. Ahh, the good ole days of CEG. Heres what I came up with.

Perhaps not the most aesthetically pleasing to some, but I thought it looked okay considering nothing was available as far as aftermarket was concerned when i made it. However, my dad took a friend for a ride in my car last summer and upon pulling into the driveway, bottomed out the splitter which took a nice chunk out of it and really cracked the paint. I decided to go ahead and mold the pre 98 fascia to the svt fascia.

Heres what I got just like everyone else.
