Yeah.

Although since my 2.5 now has 80k on it, I really shouldn't be up in the revs unless I plan on replacing things fast. As a result, the light doesn't flicker (obviously) so Im not in that much of a hurry. If it hasn't gotten worse, whatsoever, in 2 years, I doubt its likely going to just all of a sudden fail without any increase in warning signs.

Most likely the alternator. Do yourself a favor and do not get a Ford rebuild if you replace it. They suck! Mine lasted just under the warranty period - like 11,600 miles.
