The Ipod idea was excellent. When my brother was my best man, I gave him a $200 gift certificate to the local car aftermarket installer place. Maybe if they appreciate cars you could give them $50 certificates to get their cars detailed?

I think they should be giving you congratulatory gifts for becoming de-virginized In all reality though, you could get tickets to a KC Chiefs game and all go together, take them all karting, or just give the a gift cert to someplace that each of them would find useful. Rick

This is the way to do it. I was in my friend's wedding last summer and everyone got a jersey... I got an old Joe Dumars jersey, one guy from Buffalo got an old Sabres away jersey, another got a Doc Gooden one... All the guys got something from their favorite team, and it showed that he actually took the time to give each guy something ESPECIALLY for them. If they're part of your wedding, you obviously know something about them personally, so why not tailor each gift?
Tickets to a game is always cool, IMO... it'll give you and the guys another chance to hang out once the craziness of the wedding weekend is over.

When I got married a couple years ago, the biggest hit of all the gifts I gave were the little ZipZap r/c cars you can get at Radio Shack. They happenned to be on sale so I got one each for all the groomsmen and ushers (and a MustangGT for me too!). The guys all brought them to the church the day of the wedding and while the girls were getting their pictures taken and the guests were arriving, we were in our room of the church holding races around a makeshift racetrack on the linoleum floor! It was awesome!

Thanks for the ideas! I think I may try to go personalized, as much as I can. Tickets to a Chiefs game would be killer, but hella-expensive. Not to mention, 1 is out of town (coming in only for wedding) and the other hates sports. And The KC Royals are a joke, so that is not an option. Maybe a bit more $$ for the Best Man, and I could get him a decent watch. I know its the thought that counts too. What do you guys think of these? Personalized Pub Signs ? Keep the ideas coming, the more the merrier!

A few gifts I've gotten that I still use to this day are:
1) Nice engraved pocket business card holder 2) Nice engraved desktop business card holder 3) Engraved money clip 4) Nice italian leather wallet
The watch and multi-tool ideas sound good to me. I think you have to put some thought into what you think each of the groomsmen would really appreciate and go that route. Otherwise the same generic but nice gift for each of the groomsmen works well.

There were 6 guys in my wedding party this past October. I went to Sears and they have those yellow 1.5 Million Candle power Spotlights (the kind that recharge and come with a car adapter, etc.) I was hesitant at first about getting spotlights for them but each one of them has told me seperately that they like their flashlights and they actually use them. I have since ridden with some of them in their vehicles and some of them had them in the car with them, even plugged in at the time. That made me feel like I did ok The lights are cool because they are compact and have a little zipper storage bag, and they are powerful as hell. There is only 1 out of the 6 guys that even lives in a somewhat rural area.. the rest of them live in major cities but still use them. We had an outdoor wedding in the woods with a reception in an old restored barn, so it kind of fit anyway. I had a tight budget because of how many guys there were, and also they all know I'm still a student so it was cool with them, so these worked out well for me. I like the sound of those game tickets that were mentioned. That means you get another excuse to hang with the crew, and you are giving them your time and a gift!

The best thing I have received was a leatherman. I use it all the time and it's lasted forever. I bought each of the guys in my wedding one including the ushers. here's the one I chose.
