I've received crap (flasks and the like). For my wedding we tailored each gift to the groomsman.
One got a Redskins pullover (big Skins fan),
Another got a Northeastern hockey jersey (his alma mater),
Another got the Pats Super Bowl victories on DVD,
and my brothers-in-law got beer of the month club subscriptions for 3 months each.
