Lets use his system's layout as a template shall we?
1) no cats0 $0 2) (2) Magnaflow res- $100 Justmagnaflow.com 3) (2) Magnaflow polished SST race series mufflers- $200 Justmagnaflow.com 4) (4) 180 degree u-bends form Jegs- ~60(don't recall exactly whaqt my total was) 5) Misc strait pipe and flanges locally- ~40(definitly no more than that) 6) Build and h-pipe (free) 7) Get to cut\weld\fit\repeat as necessary
I've also been doing some research and will be expermenting with using two stock SE exhaust piping ystems modified to run side-by side...because of ground clearance issues i'm going to have to go around my gas tank. The stock SE system is the proper size for tue duals(2").
Thats running an O/R H pipe, little different. I wonder what that would sound like

I did mine just about exactly like pole is saying. I had $194 in magnaflows, Used 2 stock SVT systems JUST for the bends around the tank, built an H-pipe & used some glasspacks I had laying around. Car sounds barely louder than stock & slightly deeper. I'm not into loudness so Its perfect to me. $429 buck in it Tack on the change for the headers & you're still spending less than some of the catback systems.
I don't "mod" I just fix what breaks!
