It's called learning the limits of your vehicle. Understanding it's limits helps the driver and everyone else on the road. If someone pulls out in front of you and you need to pull an evasive maneuver knowing what the car is going to do could save your life. Also knowing how the car slides will help in a rain or snow storm.

Stop wasting your breath - your talking to a guy who drives a truck AND thinks that the Yaris is a sweet car.

Nothing if your idea of a vehicle is to take 2 people, get horrible gas mileage, have a high center of gravity, and a less than steller ride.

Trucks are cool if you need to haul stuff, tow stuff, or otherwise need that kind of farm implement, and I guess as long as you have to drive a "tractor" around on the street, it wouldn't hurt if it would haul azz and look decent, too. Still, too much work in either of these directions and you start to decrease the utility of the vehicle, which is why you (should have) bought it in the first place.
I don't get the whole love of trucks for their own sake, bit.
Function before fashion.

Look, I couldn't pass up the screamin' deal I got this truck for, which was about half the KBB value, so stuff it. I do haul a lot of junk around, tires, beds, ENGINES, FIREBIRDS. You know, I guess I could do that with a little EVO or Supra huh? Besides it makes a boatload of power and its aftermarket is VERY large. Oh did I mention the engine is in the LS-block family? Gas mileage ain't too bad for almost 300 horsepower in a 5000 lb vehicle. I usually average around 18/21 if I grandma it (which I pretty much do with fuel being so high). A truck wasn't my first choice of replacement vehicles, and I'm not really in love with it, but like I said before, I needed it to haul stuff around, AND I got it for a steal. And besides, what does me driving a truck have anything to do with me knowing what I am talking about? The video looked like they were racing. I was *wrong* about that, technically . But what would you think they were doing if you just walked on to the track and didn't know what was going on? I call vendetta!

I can fit 6 in mine, it's more comfortable on trips than the Tour, and has a MUCH bigger trunk, but yeah...crap mileage (14 on the highway is lucky).
Does this count as stuff in the back?
Let's see you tow that with a car!
