I just finished my first subwoofer system install, and have to say it went much smoother than anticipated. I've installed many a head units and speakers before, but never subwoofers and an amp. My system sounds great! All I wanna do is sit in my car and listen to tunes! hehe
Specs:
Pioneer DEH-3700MP Head unit
Pioneer TS-A6871R 240w 3-way 6x8 Speakers (2x Front)
Pioneer 120w 2-way 6x8 Speakers (2x Rear...can't remember model #)
Pioneer GM-5200T 760w (125w RMS x 2) Amplifier
2x Pioneer TS-W301R 12" 800w Subwoofers
Q-Logic Dual 12" Hatchback Box
I will post pics when I get a chance.
My only concern is somehow securing the sub box in place. So far, I've noticed it hasn't really moved at all with me driving, but I don't want to take any chances. Is it necessary to fasten down the subwoofer box? If so, how do y'all do it with still allowing the box to be removed in case ya need access to the spare tire?
Thanks.
