I would say you are about 3-4K above market value. It sucks these things dropped like rocks and are not collectible.
You car was most likely purchased new in 1997 as it was a mid year replacement for the 1997, you have to figure the car is gonna see more than a 7K depreciation in 4 1/2 - 5yrs.
