I've got a 17" rim from my brother's nissan spec-v that i would like to incorporate into my living room or something. I found a round piece of glass that fits perfectly over it. I'm thinking about making a small end table or something out of it, but im not sure about how to attach legs.

Anyone else here ever done this, or have any recommendations on what to do with it?

my friend mounted a billet rim inside his garage and used it to wrap his water hose around. looked pretty cool.

if i was a weilder id make an 3-4 foot steel pole weild a 7x7 inch thick peice to one side and 2x2foot squar to the other side make shure its all level drill wholes in the smaller side
bolt the rim to the smaller side put you glass on top of it and put it were you want it

i know its not car-related, but im thinking of just resting the rim on top of an empty beer keg...its the perfect height, and i think the diameter is nearly perfect. I dont know how to weld, so i cant really think of any other way to support it with the stuff i have on hand
