Congrats man! But 5 months is a very short time to plan a wedding. My wedding is coming up in June and we had a year to prepare and are still rushing. I guess the size might make a difference since we are having 300ish coming. Good luck man!

Yeah it definitely depends on a bunch of things, especially whether you do a traditional wedding with reception or not. 5 months is doable, you just gotta get lucky and have all the people you want available for your date, otherwise settle on others for your needs. church, hall, photographer/videographer, bakery, limo, DJ/musicians, etc etc etc. It can be a pain getting them all available on the same date with not much advance notice.

Yeah, now try being 1,000 miles away from home where the wedding will actually take place! Good thing we are moving back to Michigan in 2 weeks though. We have a hall and church already (most likely). We know it is going to be a lot of planning in such short ammount of time but I'm sure everything will work out. We really wanted to get married in Michigan in October because it is so beautiful up there at that time.

I've been remiss...
Congratulations on the engagement; may patience, care, and kindness rule all of your days you spend together and let those traits ensure you spend precious few apart from one another.
God Bless and best wishes.
