I just got this '95 with 106k. I had the air filter housing/tb cover off earlier looking for vacuum leaks due to a rough idle condition. Put it back together and bam, cel codes for engine coolant temp sensor and camshaft sensor pop up. I go back under the hood and see that all these NAKED WIRES must have been disturbed and are now touching. Upon further review, I've got so much insulation missing its ridiculous (I knew it was bad, but this is insane).

Obviously I'm beyond the recall period and need to fix this insulation problem myself. I'm wondering if there is a goop-like material (or anything!) that I can use to insulate the wires without going through a very expensive and time consuming formal replacement.

LOL. Did not even notice it. But now that you mentioned it, even the product is in solution form.
