I made my MAF adaptor outta ABS pipeing and a piece of the old airbox for less than $5.00.

I cut the airbox end which had the mounting holes the MAF screwed into, and found two pieces of ABS pipe, and glued it all together. The airbox is made out of ABS as well and the ABS joiner/sealer/glue did an excellent job of bonding the old bit of airbox to the abs.

I too couldn't handel the idea of 40 plus bux for something so simple. It's been close to a year of daily 200KM trips into work and no issue whatsoever.
