Yea, but its not a hard drop... its a lot of clutch action... thats where the 60' time really is made or broken with this car. You need decent RPMs to stay in the power, and you gotta work the clutch and gas to keep it singing, but not spinning/hopping. It not really easy to see in the video, but there was some hopping on that last launch, and on the 1-2 shift. Pole roll resistors, here I come!




Josh (pole120) is finding that the roll resistors aren't taking up all the slack on his SVT. The working theory right now is that the engine alignment is way off. When we were at the drag strip we were seeing a lot of wheel hop, but it was also fairly cold out and his traction was crap. I'd discuss it with him, but I'd still get the resistors anyway.

To be fair, I've locked threads like this in the past, so this one has to get it as well. If you want to discuss the roll resistors or the differential, please do continue in Duratec Performance and Transaxle.
