I've had this '95 2.0l for a week, started right up 30 times. Yesterday in traffic the temp got into the "L" so when I got home I decided to take a hose to the radiator, which had grass and debris stuck in it. That may or may not have created my starting problem, but its worth a mention. But anyway the car started right up after that and I drove to a friend's house.

An hour after I got to the friend's, the car will not start. I get the chimes, the check engine light, but no sound, no turning over. Tried to jump it, no dice. I am now waiting on a crank position sensor, just hoping that is the problem and a new one fixes it.

One point to make is that this car has an aftermarket keyless remote, and there are two ways to start the car: 1 - press unlock on remote, insert key, start. 2 - push in fuel pump shut off switch while starting. So maybe somehow the fuel pump circuit is disabled? Although I would thing that pressing the shut off button would re-enable it.

Any ideas what else I might do if that does not fix it? My current plan is to try a camshaft position sensor next. I read one post about connections at the battery and they appear to be fine.
