We'll start off one at a time.
As far as injectors, we're seeing if it'll run w/ the 2.5 computer, if not we'll plug in the 3.0 computer out of the sable.
The only problem that my dad thought we'd run into (the one whos doing most of this work, has been a mechanic for over 35 years, specializes in performance transmission builds) would be the injectors opening at the right time ect.
He spliced all the wires, and hooked all the injectors in, and I trust his work, we had it fired up last night and it sounded good.
As for the secondaries, I could always take the vaccume off the 2.5 and put it on the 3.0. I was just wondering if I could run it wide open, ect. I figured they opend up throughout the powerband to get more air/fuel flow to get more power.
We got the 2.5 timing cover on the 3.0 block, we've got the waterpump on, and the waterpump pully off of the 2.5. We plan on running the waterpump off of the one of the cooling fans off of the sables radatior. We're eaither hooking it up to the ignition, or to the coolent temp. Its a 2stage fan, that runs clockwise, and counterclockwise.
And no, we didn't swap oil pans, I researched it on here, and I herd a lot about swapping them, but it really didn't give a reason on why to swap them? But the 3.0 bolted right up fine.
The moutn I was referring to was the pully for the serpatine belt that ran the from the cam to the waterpump!
