Look at the blue book! Dealerships were selling them off the lots for $18K! just to get rid of them. They are amazing cars but no one will pay $18K. Have you even browsed the classifieds?
The car drives like it's worth $18K but wake up, it is not.
A. They were sold cheap to begin with
B. Fords depreciate faster than other cars
C. The market is soft right now

Good luck selling at that price. I had mine on the market for four months before selling it this past weekend for $15k. It was a 2000 with 24k miles. Granted, they're more abundant in Detroit, but still...

You guys keep going off on the price, I know its high!

The thing is, we got a sour deal, as you can tell...He is only trying to get back what he owes on it and about 1K for a downpayment on a cheap used car...He has changed the price from $18,500 to "slightly" more reasonable $17,000..He owes $16,600 on it...

Believe me, he is just in a very tight situation right now, he is desperately trying to sell the car for just enough to pay it off and get something a lot cheaper...

Please understand...

Once again the new price is $17,000
