Is that price for real? Not that I am in the market but don't you think $12,500 is a little more reasonable?

Car is 4+ years old and your pops only wants to take a $5000 hit from the price I assume he paid?

As Iron Mike would say!

Agreed, reality is that he won't get anything close to $18000. He does have low miles, so maybe around 12K to 14K. Good luck

He got a sour deal when he bought it, he is trying to recoup what he can frown

Know the price is a lil high, but it is truly in great condition, he bought it used, had 8K on it when he bought in Dec. Of 2000, but cant afford payments anymore, and still owes about 17K or so(Like I said, bad deal frown )

Please post if interested at all, I wil let him know any reasonable offers or suggestions smile

Thanks laugh

He bought it a year ago and still owes $17K?! eek

He is upside down...there's no getting around that. The market is soft right now and he's asking way over high blue book. He'll be lucky to get low blue book.

your asking waaaaaay to much. i got much less than what you are offering and i had a 99 svt with only 16k miles on it.

this will tell you how much its worth..

these cars have no resale value...they are only around 20k brand new.

I've been shopping for CSVT and this price is whack...no one will buy it for that price.

I was offered a 2000 for $15.9K...

hmmmmm... okay wait a minute... before i bought the SVT i was obviously looking...SVT's hard to find (in good condition)...I had to buy mine from the Bay Area. At the time i was only able to find 5 SVT's for sale (throughout Cali - most in the SoCal) ... all with high milage and stuff ranging from 98-00. All of them asked prices in the range of 17k-18k except for the one TRed. I didn't even want a RED car (but i thought about it..chics, stuff n rare...I LOVE IT NOW) But back to the story... those people wouldn't budge from their price. Yeah i ended up getting mine for 15.5k with low miles (lower than the others in cali ads) but the point is... those people knew what they had. I know for a fact that I could get 18k for my SVT right now, and in '99 when i was about to sell the '96 i was selling it for $10k and had a buyer who i flaked on (couldn't think of another car i'd be interestd @ the time)... blah blah blah.... you do what you gotta do. Some one who really wants it will buy it, trust me. When you're looking for a SVT you know what you're looking for.

SVT EMBLEM MOD HERE
