Their KC date sold out in 8 minutes! At $66 + ticketmaster service charge, came to a whopping $8x for 1 ticket! I remember when I saw them on the Aenima tour, that was a cool show! I downloaded the CD last night, and bought it today.

I bought the CD today as well. TOOL is my favorite band. I have been waiting for this CD to come out FOR EVER.
The cd artwork/pictures are interesting. Nice touch with the two lenses . Quite frankly, the artwork reminds me of something like a mushroom trip.
As with most tool cd's I think the cd needs to be listened to quite a few times before you can sort out the layers. I like it though. Similar to lateralus with hints of aenima.
Time for me to listen to it again...
Oh, by the way...anyone know if the lyrics for this CD are up on the internet yet?

The Seattle show sold out in less than 2 minutes. That always happens when Tool or A Perfect Circle play a small venue here.
The first A Perfect Circle tour played two dates here. Tickets for those shows were gone in around 5.

nope it sounds fine to me....and i know a little about mastering as recording arts was my major back in the day...
i also like it so far.....it defenitely sounds like a tool cd....but like was said before it needs to be listened to a few times to take it all in....there is some different sounds on this disc but tool has always had its own sound and nothing is too experimental for them...so far great cd though.....defenitely worth picking up especially since everywhere seems to have it for $10....

I tired hard to like A Perfect Circle, but I never listened to it like I could with Tool. Kind of the same problme of getting into Audio Slave after loving Rage Against the Machine.

I concur. Sounds like tool, nothing too different. I want to get out the headphones and listen.

I haven't got the new cd yet, but i heard the art work was sweet and I have heard three tracks, pretty good.
I saw Aenema tour in Apple river, WI the ampitheatre, and saw them in Ames after Lateralus release.
Tool is the greatest band ever!!!
