Personally i think we should just sign them all up to fight for our country(military).And send there asses to war. Show me how much you love america. I like seeeing there flags" i love america" Lets see who will stay for that one??  I bet they would all flee and run back to what country or rock they where hiding under. Look my family and others have sons, daughters, brothers and sisters out in war right now. Dieing and losing themselves physically and mentally. While these douch bags sit here and [censored] about wanting something. In america nothing is free, you must earn it. And yes i am first generation here. My parents relatives all did it the right way. If you or others did it the right way. Much respect to them and to you.

What Germany does sounds like a pretty good plan to end all this, however the way people go about life in Germany is very different. You either Go to school or learn a trade. Period. You EARN your healthcare. You CONTRIBUTE to your country. There isn't room for slackers in Germany.

That would be unconstitutional because there is no draft requiring "forced" military duty.

ahaha...i dont know the last she was in the motherland but things have significantly changed. germany is full of slackers now. gen X? Y? many of today's mtv youth over there arent going to school or learning trades. just working menial jobs like so many do over here. i even read an article in the business section of the la times that german companies are having to outsource (from other countries) for engineers due to the serious shortage of qualified germans. and there isnt room for slackers in germany?? didnt you read my mention of east germany. that's an entire friggin country! imagine our population nearly doubling over night while using the same budget.  it sounds like this lady has much pride in her homeland, as does any immigrant, but things are definitely all peachy over in Deutscheland(sp?). and yes, a lot of it is due to immigration but that's their own damn fault. same with the reunification.
but anyways, back to the US.....

For US Citizens you are correct.
They are not US citizens.
Even though it would never happen, and the UN/world would be pissed at us.
1) The US Supreme court has ruled that if you are not a US Citizen or here legally, you have some rights and not others. Most of the rights we have are not extended to illegals.
2) Who cares what the UN says/thinks? Pissing off the world is another story, but exactly what nation (sans Mexico) would have a problem with us doing something to rid ourselves of illegals. Don't you think France and Germany would love to give das boot to all the people in their countries that aren't supposed to be there. It is our right as a soverign nation to decide who will enter this country, when they will enter this country, and how they will become citizens once they are here, PERIOD.

Well, for what it's worth, the immigrant protests may do some good. As in backfiring in their faces. Citizens just may get cheesed off enough to demand, en mass, the government to send them all back to where they came from. Anyone who drove around the L.A. area freeways on Monday learned what it was like not having about 3 million illegals (and their sympathizers) on the roads. It reminded me of what it was like 20 or 30 years ago and I'd like to have those days back again.  Karl
