You know, fact is that there is a LEGAL way to enter this country and they chose and ILLEGAL one. You do ILLEGAL things and you are a CRIMINAL. Regardless of if they wanted a better life or not, they still chose an ILLEGAL channel to get it.
As for that, "bring us your tired, poor, sick and huddled masses yearning to be free" stuff, that hasn't been an accepted idea in this country for several decades. Where did you get that ,out of a 1950s textbook written about the America of the 1930s?

And I'm the educated one with the sarcastic smiley face??? When you cross over the border without having the propper documents in place you are guilty of a crime, that makes you a criminal. I thought we knew this since like the 1st grade? Thats about all the proof that is needed in my eyes and the eyes of the law.
I don't call their intentions bad, not one place can you quote me where I said they were comming here to be a leech on the U.S. Hell, I sell cell phones to people all the time I am 99.9% sure are illegals, so I make a living off their working too. They happen to have all the right papers I need so I can't tell them no.
I have no problem with people wanting to come to this country to make a living. I have a problem with the fact that they ignore our immigration process completly and come here and work under the table or with someone else's SS# etc. Hell, if you think about it most of them are guilty of more than 1 crime. Seems like they are criminals to me

What other reasons would there be to support the president? In a world riddled with war and terrorism wouldn't our president's policy on national security be MOST important?

It's not that they're working jobs that Americans don't want to do. A lot of them low ball, taking jobs away from those willing to do it.
Again, I'll speak from experience. My buddy owned his own landscaping company. Slowly, he started to lose business because he was being undercut by other companies that employed illegals. Eventually, he had to let it go. Same goes for my father-in-law who owns his own construction company. He tells me how it's hard for him to go up in price to adjust for the rise in cost of supplies because he's being undercut by illegals that will lower their own price to get the job.
He was born here, so he's American. Yet, many would still call him Mexican. One of my best friends was born in Mexico (while his parents were vacationing there  ) and had to get his citizenship here. Ask him and he'll proudly tell you he's American and not Mexican.

haha this is true.
Yeah I agree there should be a proper way. Im not suggesting they just open the boarder with no questions asked. I think the whole situations just sucks on both sides. But the current system to enter the U.S. is not as simple as fill out some papers, take a picture, and have a good criminal record.
You do what you can to survive.

What makes these Mexicans superior to other people that want to come to the United States. What about black africans? Those from Sudan, Rwanda, or the Congo? These people can't get travel visas to fly to the US? Is the Mexican a more deserving race than an African? Shouldn't Africans have an equal opportunity of immigrating to the United States as the Mexican? Without a fence and CONTROLLED IMMIGRATION , are we saying that Mexicans are more deserving than the poor of every other nation? I've traveled through Mexico and the Congo and the most fortunate of the Congolese have it worse than the poor of Mexico.

Until you have to immigrate legally (which I have done) none of you guys supporting illegals have a opinion worth listening to.
It's ILLEGAL and unfair to those of us who follow the rules.
