Yeah I agree there should be a proper way. Im not suggesting they just open the boarder with no questions asked. I think the whole situations just sucks on both sides. But the current system to enter the U.S. is not as simple as fill out some papers, take a picture, and have a good criminal record.
You do what you can to survive.
