you think most of those employers care? they require it because they government requires it. im sure they'd love to get fined for not demanding it.

I don't understand if my family came to the US *legally*, why can't others? My father's family was poor as hell. Lived in the ghetto, drove taxis and worked hard to get up and out. My mom's family had a little money, but my grandmother was a seamstress, working hard and making money. If they can do it, why can't others?!?

Because the US doesn't allow everyone into the country. and it goes far beyond being a class citizen and having the thousands of dollars it costs to come here. The Gov't only allows so many people to come. So people aren't willing to wait the 2, 5, 10 years it may take to get here. I understand your position and agree it isn't the most fair for those who HAVE come here legally.

i dont know, why dont you stop by and ask them? if you really want to know none of us here are poor illegal immigrants from mexico, el salvador, honduras, nicarauga, equador, cuba, dominican republic, haiti, china, vietnam, cambodia, etc... oh yeah, i forgot, illegal immigrants only come from mexico.

Yeah because when you pay taxes, the only thing they go towards is SS benefits right? How about: Schools, roads, hospitals, sidewalks, public transportation; to name a few of the things they do benefit from. Well at least the ones that pay taxes...
