reason i'm asking if it really matters is because every salvage yard says only the 98 model year will work in her 98 mystique, and i can only find 99's. only thing i can think of is the vavle body and pcm don't get along in later models but this sounds like horse s#!%. are the later year(99-00) contour/mystique transmissions compatable with the earlier ones (98)????????????????????
