And for $25,000, you can go to Russia and have a 45 minute ride in one of these.

Watching the control surfaces on that thing is pure fighter plane sex!

I love seeing it do the Cobra maneuver! The G's that pilot has to be withstanding must be unreal!

A=Attack, yes? As in air to ground. For example, the Frogfoot is a copy of our A-10 Warthog.

Its not a blatant copy such as the Blackjack and other Soviet copies, but its somewhat close. My list is for the naming of their aircraft. Their 'attack' planes are aligned with the fighters for names for some reason....

Those maneuvers are at REALLY LOW airspeeds. It is so slow, that very little of the mass of (and in) the airplane is fighting inertia. The Gs are realtively few, unless you are turning and burning in it at high speeds.

A good buddy of mine who was in the USAF had a ride in an F-16. He tells me the ideal body type for fighter flying is a stocky build. Why? Better G Tolerance. He had experienced 8.4 G's, and it blurred his vision somewhat. Not even a blackout (G-LOC)! Sweet stuff!!!

When you fly in a F-16 their whole goal is to make you puke.

You're about to start the flamewar of flamewars!

I've seen the Blue Angels too many times. The first airshow I went to, I experienced the TBirds. After that, it was Blues all the way until last year when I saw the TBirds again. The only break in the Blues streak was the first time I saw the Snowbirds back in 1997. And this year at the McDonald's Air and Sea Show, I'll see a first: two teams at one show, Blue Angels and Snowbirds, right on the beach!
