OK, so the local harware shop looks at me like I'm crazy when I ask for a 1/2 inch copper cap with a hole in the middle.

HOLY F*CKING SH!T.

PLEASE TELL ME A CEG MEMBER WITH A 3L UNDER THE HOOD, DIDN'T JUST SAY THAT!!!!

I must have missed the part of the how-to where it said that drilling was required. I thought for some reason they just came that way. Just 'cause I got the goods under the hood doesn't make me a mechanic, or a hardware expert. However I learned from the butch at Home Depot that such a thing does exist, so I must not be completely retarded. It's called a compression cap, and they didn't have any in the size I was looking for. So I got two 1/2 inch copper pipe caps and was going to just drill the holes myself with the respective drill bit sizes, and try each to see which worked better. However, on the way home I noticed that my throttle hang was not as bad as before, hanging at a lesser rpm for a shorter amount of time. So I drove around for an extra half hour, and now my throttle hang has gone away on its own! I only hope that it's fixed for good, and I won't have to drive that long each time before it goes away. So I'm happy to say the least.
