That's a GREAT price for that much track time! Two hours in one day?? Sign me up! I'm usually paying close to $400 for two days and same amount of track time. Although I AM going to VIR and Mid-Ohio...

DEFINITELY get some taller tires. LOL I'm surprised you didn't already have race pads on there with the Hoosiers. What pads were you running? I have no experience with Gingerman but what speeds were you hitting before you had to get on the brakes for the turns?

Koni sport kit - Roush bar.. etc. See this post for more details. I really need to update my site as it is quite dated.

As for the tires, I ended up with these for a price I could not refuse (they were slightly used). I had been looking for slightly wider and taller ones, but could not find them for a decent price in time. I do not have race pads as of yet because I just recently put the Focus brakes on the front. I was running Porterfield R4's for a short time with the stock setup, but am yet undecided on what I am going to switch to now. Speeds were 100ish mph but I had to back off a bit as I did not trust the brakes enough and was getting to the point of overheating the compound and was experiencing a bit of fade. Next fab project is going to be a set of brake ducts for the track if I can fit them in there.

The Porterfields come highly recommended... Do they make the R4S for the SVT Focus? If you like the R4's you should try the S's.
Excellent post, BTW.
