I like them a lot. This year and last they hold up great when I'm using them on the street. I run them around 30psi if I'm using them on the street and my gas mileage is fine. They do okay if it's wet out. I can drive fine in rain as lon gas it's light. As soon as there is any standing water though or you hit a patch of pavement that is very smooth (luckily this is rarely a problem in MI) then you start to hydroplane pretty quickly. It has only happened to me once but the tires are very good at letting you know where their limits are. At 55mph and under I've always been fine on the expressway in the rain no matter what. For most light rain storms I'm fine doing the regular speed limite +-5mph. And the tires hold up find to higher speed runs as well..

Great numbers man!
I really wish I'd done a run on my car with Drag radials before I sold it.
I had a second set of rims for a set too. Hopefully Ray will re-dyno after an improvement or two and maybe do a run or two with DRs.

Nice runs, good luck getting into the 12's seems your next mods will surely get you there.

With a 60' like your "crappy" 1.8 I'd be well into the 12s! I'd imagine I'd end up around 12.5 if I could pull off something that low.

I need to upgrade the suspension to get much better on the launch though. With how high the rear end sits as it is the tail squat is rediculous off the launch.

Oh, I know, what kinda work does it take to pull down a 1.8 60ft in your car? You have alot of power under that hood right now. I think we would have a good race if we were ever to meet up somewhere.

Just takes a good launch with DRs.
A friend cut 2.0 60' on worn out 215/45/17 contiextremes on his srt4.

A 2.0 on street tires is about as good as you can get.

I should be capable of a 1.8 on the tires I have, but I need to make the rear end more stiff and an LSD would help a ton. Without an LSD I should still be able to hit a 1.9 or so...thats about as good as I've seen on SRT Forums. Some of the guys with modified suspension with the stock LSD and slicks have gotten down to a high 1.6x

I ran a 8.4982 @ 83.92 in the 1/8th on the fastest of the two 13.0 runs. I'd highly suggest solid motor mounts for his car. They make traction bars for the SRT that are supposed to be pretty good. A stiffer suspension set up (espically for the rear). It's actually easier/cheaper to buy 15" wheels and some wider tires.
